EDUCATION
Go Further Than the Residency. Earn the Degree.
Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine is proud to deliver the MD curriculum for the six-year medical degree integrated and certificate training pathway in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Northwell Health.
Designed for individuals who have earned a DDS or DMD, this program integrates the ability to earn a medical degree and complete a one-year internship in general surgery recognized by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
Residents in the six-year pathway receive transfer credit for selected coursework completed in dental school and are enrolled in a customized, cutting-edge medical school curriculum designed to complement the residency surgical curriculum.
