ABOUT
A Partnership for Excellence
Established in 2008, the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell was built on a powerful foundation: the clinical and graduate medical education strength of Northwell Health, combined with the robust research and academic programs of Hofstra and the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research.
Together, we’ve created a medical school that combines an immersive, activated learning experience with individualized attention, emphasizing early clinical experiences, self-directed learning, and a case-based curriculum. Through a team-based approach to training and patient care, we create the next generation of doctors who never settle for less than exceptional.
Ranked among the best graduate schools for medical research nationwide for ten consecutive years (2016-2025) by U.S. News & World Report, Zucker School of Medicine today comprises more than 4,000 faculty members across 25 academic departments, enrolling a diverse community of over 400 students.
